These sessions are designed to help us bring spiritual teachings into our day-to-day life. They will cover areas such as work, marriage, children, religion, freedom, and so on. The sessions will be based mainly on the Bhagavad Gita and the Prophet (by Kahlil Gibran). Each session will begin with a talk, which will be followed by discussions on real-life examples based on questions and issues that participants bring.
The series is divided into three sets of classes — mind, heart and body — reflecting the three main ways we interact with the world.
Set 1: Mind
The first set of sessions will focus on understanding how the mind works and how we can use it to develop a skillful world view leading to joy and equanimity. We will explore concepts like self-knowledge, pleasure, reason and passion, the three gunas, freedom etc.
